Mumford & Sons are a British band formed in London in 2007. They have experienced amazing success on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean since, and fans in the United States are always ready to hear about the news of upcoming tours on native soil. That is exactly what is going to unfold in the upcoming months, as the popular band has announced a run that will span August 3 in Los Angeles through October 13 in Austin, Texas. Mumford & Sons US 2019 Tour Tickets are available to the general public now.
Mumford & Sons Beginning
Marcus Mumford has been on lead vocals and the acoustic and electric guitar since the beginning, and he occasionally moonlights as the drummer in the four-man, multi-talented group. Ben Lovett is a co-vocalist and a master of the keyboard and piano. Winston Marshall chimes in vocally on a regular basis while playing the electric guitar and the banjo at times, and Ted Dwane is a vocalist and bass guitarist.
The group has been tickling the strings and gently making their way into the hearts of folk rock fans all around the world in the last decade-plus. Their initial studio release entitled Sigh No More came in 2009, and Babel came in 2012. Wilder Mind was released in 2005, exactly 3 years before Delta was released in 2008. The formula of releasing a studio album approximately every three years has proved to be a very fruitful venture for the group, who puts their talents into mass marketing in an era in which touring and performing shows is much more profitable than selling singles and records.
Marcus Mumford identifies at a British man. He was born in Yorba Linda, California in late-January 1987 to parents who were born in England. Born in the final years of a decade that represented a true transition and revolution of music in general, he proudly possesses dual-citizenship status. The other three bandmembers were also born on the other side of the pond. Amazing folk rock resonates with folk rock fans anywhere it is created, and obviously anywhere it is heard or performed live. This is what makes Mumford & Sons 2019 Tour Tickets so very popular.
2019 Delta Tour
The recently announced tour is currently scheduled to kick off in Los Angeles on August 3, and it will make its way quickly north into Portland, Oregon for a show at the gigantic indoor Moda Center on August 5. Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium will host the band on August 7, before they play the historic outdoor Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington on August 9. The theme of playing a show every two days follows a 2-3 theme of releasing an album every three years, but it is uncertain as to whether or not the band recognizes or purposefully schedules such things. Nonetheless, the Gorge Amphitheater will be one of most popular shows when the band touches down on the very edge of Western Civilization along a gently yet steadily flowing section of the massive and powerful Columbia River.
Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater is an equally wonderful outdoor epicenter of fun. Formerly known as the Coors Amphitheater and the Comfort Dental Amphitheater, it is located at 6350 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Owned by the Museum of Outdoor Arts, it has an official capacity of 18,000, and it was officially opened to the public back in mid-June of 1988.
Renovated just a few years ago, it is now a wonderful modern place to stage a concert, and Mumford & Sons will stage three in succession on August 15, 16 and 17.
