Twenty One Pilots Announce American Tour Dates, Tickets On Sale Now

Twenty One Pilots recently announced an upcoming 2019 tour that will take them within a short drive of tens of millions of fans. The fun begins on October 9 and runs through the middle of November, and an array of Twenty One Pilots Tickets are currently available to the general public now.

Making of a Band

The group that was originally formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2009 has been categorized as everything from electro-pop to alternative hip-hop and alternative rock. It is increasingly difficult to categorize bands with so much depth of talent and range of creative expression, but finding compact discs, cassette tapes and albums in record stores based on general categorizations is basically a thing of the past.

Their first self-entitled and self-released album came in the final days of December 2009, and it barely made a register on the Billboard charts. The next one ironically entitled Regional at Best came a full year and a half later, and it did not register on any Billboard charts in the world. When the duo signed on with the record label Fueled by Ramen – a subdivision of Warner Music Group and Electric Records – they officially became big-time professional musicians.

It was then that Josh Dun joined original founder and musician/jack of all trades Tyler Joseph to make the modern version of the band, which has been steadily rising in popularity over the last seven years. The major record label was able to help them get enough exposure for their third album, entitled Vessel, to almost break the top 20 in the American Billboard charts.

The duo continued to garner momentum in the next few years before unleashing Blurryface to legions of fans throughout the globe anxious to get their hands on the album that has since gone four times platinum. It made it all the way to #1 on the American Billboard Charts, and amazingly cracked the top five in Canada, Finland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Their most recent release entitled Trench dropped in the first week of October of last year, and it has since gained the incredible distinction of registering at #1 or #2 in the United States, Australia, Canada, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand and The United Kingdom.

Joseph has been with the group from the very beginning, and has received a total of a half-dozen Grammy Award nominations, five of which came in 2017, and one of which happened this year. He was able to lift the coveted award in 2017 for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, along with Dun. Their steady rise to success has been truly amazing, and it goes without saying that tickets to these upcoming shows are going to be the hottest Twenty One Pilots Ticket ever.
